About three weeks ago, I captured this image. It was in between the “atmospheric rivers” we’ve been experiencing here in the PNW. Everything since that day has been a blur, up to and including yesterday. Moments dissolve, one into another, bringing to mind the word “ephemeral.” Of course, you might say, “lasting for a very short time” also describes the word “moment.” Hey, maybe I’m working on expanding my vocabulary as well as my photography skills! Anyway, Christmas, just like this mushroom, is now behind us with the upside that both have made way for what comes next. Here’s to that.
